How Papillon Style Studio came to be

My love of fashion started early. As the youngest of seven sisters, personal style was practically a survival skill. I went on to earn a degree in Clothing, Textiles & Design and spent 16 years building a career in the fashion and apparel industry, working in merchandising, product development, e-commerce, and styling for companies including Neiman Marcus Online, JCPenney, and Dickies.

Later, I transitioned into healthcare administration — a different world, but the same core work: helping people solve problems, feel supported, and move forward. I recently earned my MBA, and in 2026 I launched Papillon Style Studio to bring together everything I love: fashion, organization, and helping women feel confident in their own skin.

My "why" is simple. I've seen how easy it is for women to lose sight of themselves while caring for everyone else. Careers evolve. Bodies change. Life shifts. And yet so many women are still dressing for a version of themselves that no longer exists — holding onto closets that frustrate instead of support them.

I believe every woman deserves a wardrobe that reflects who she is today. When your closet works for you, getting dressed becomes easier, decision fatigue fades, and confidence grows. That's what I'm here to help you find — not perfection, just clarity.

Papillon means "butterfly" in French — a symbol of transformation. And while transformation can sometimes be dramatic, I believe the most meaningful changes often happen one small step at a time. Same you. Beautifully transformed.
